Companion Dog makes big hit!

She is loveable, goofy and smart.  Her favorite things are being cuddled, sleeping with her friend Jen at Banner House, lounging while watching tv with Mia, sitting on Matt’s lap while he scratches in just the right place behind her ears, and playing ball outside with Charles.

Staff also get in on the fun.  She is just the right manageable size.  Big enough to walk next to people without getting squished but small enough to place on people’s laps and not be too heavy.  She is a non-shedding mini Goldendoodle so she doesn’t make a mess and she’s hypoallergenic.  She’s a positive motivation for Physical and Occupation Therapy and for just getting everyone out for fun and exercise.  She is an integral part of the Banner House Family and attends meetings, trainings and socials.  Most importantly she is emotional support when things get stressful.

She was donated in 2018 to BIC by a wonderful good hearted couple, Bill and Gayle Stone, who own Golden Doodles Kennels in San Diego.
